God is on the move in our culture and our world! LMM desires to join God where He is at work doing new things!
LMM strives to be curious and watchful about where and how God is changing lives in exciting emerging ways in the 21st century! LMM aims to be thoughtful about creating men’s experiences and resources via new methods and modalities!
Several examples of how the LMM emerging ministries work has led to new things:
Prior to the pandemic, LMM’s inbox was getting filled up with emails asking what resources LMM knew of that local churches and men’s groups could use for a Bible study or small group. When LMM leadership would survey men across the country about what tools and resources were being used, dozens of new resources would surface which were producing fruit locally resulting in more bold, daring followers of Jesus.
At the same time, a group of younger leaders were feeling the nudge of the Holy Spirit to come together to ideate and create new resources and visual resources to encourage and challenge men to live into their gifting.
As a result of two weekend leadership and prayer retreats in the Chicago suburbs and Omaha, Project Twelve was born!
There are hundreds of resources such as LIFELINES and “Fathering In 15” on PXII!
LMM is always on the search for new material for Project Twelve and you can submit tools, podcasts, books and studies via a link on the PXII site. Do you have a nudge from the Holy Spirit about reaching and discipling men in new ways? We want to hear from you! LMM has a board level Director (Director of Emerging Ministries) and a staff member (Emerging Ministries Consultant) who always on the lookout for where God is at work!
The Discipleship Team focuses on developing and leading national discipleship training programs. It provides and documents discipleship training protocols.

The Networking and Communications Ministry Team facilitates and promotes the LMM Ambassador program, which includes establishing and maintaining communication links to LMM Ambassadors, regional and local LMM groups, and other interested individuals. It ensures that upcoming LMM events and activities receive effective publicity through mailings, e-mail, Constant Contact, synod newsletters, synod websites, etc,
