A Legacy of Boldness

Starting in 1988, Lutheran Men in Mission has encouraged men to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Helping them become the men, husbands, fathers, sons, brothers, and leaders God has called them to be. More specifically, LMM has been intentionally disciplining men by personally modeling the character of Jesus and by doing so help to transform them into Christlike men who naturally love and serve those around them.

Through One Year To Live retreats and the Master Builders Bible for Men, among many other efforts, Lutheran Men in Mission has been effective in helping men grow closer to Christ. Yet our work is far from over. Today, maybe more than ever before, the work to which God has called us is needed. With more and more men leaving the church or never even having heard the lifegiving Word of Christ, entire generations of young men are being raised without a Christlike man in their lives. These men try to fill the void in their lives with things of this world instead of with Christ.

As Lutheran Men in Mission looks towards the future; we are excited to be sharpening our focus on our mission, vision, and values, as we seek to disciple men of all ages, traditions, and ethnicities; living lives that model Christ. Transforming men into the hands and feet of Christ to those in their community, church, and family.

To do this we need to Reach Beyond! Capitalizing on our unique, distinctive mission we plan to Reach Boldly. Increasing participation in our experiences and expanding the use of our resources we plan to Reach More. Intentionally seek to disciple younger, more diverse, and unreached men to be bold, daring followers of Christ we plan to Reach Wide. Yet, we cannot do it without your support, which is why we are asking you to partner with us to Reach Generously. Together we can continue to intentionally create bold, daring followers of Jesus Christ who will change the world to the Glory of the Kingdom.

In the power of the Spirit,
God bless!
