Synods are 65 geographic organizations encompassing the entire United States and headed by elected Bishops called to do God’s work through the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).
Ambassadors are volunteers from across the nation who forward quarterly Ambassador-Grams to those on their contact lists that may be interested in Lutheran Men in Mission updates. They also potentially develop contacts within their Synod office; requesting that LMM information gets posted and stays current on synod webpages. If you would like to volunteer as an Ambassador (or find out more about the position), contact LMM Director of Communications and Networking
NetCasters are Ambassadors who have volunteered for extra duties. They search for existing men’s ministry groups and establish contacts within them. These groups are then linked to the helpful programs and initiatives offered by LMM. NetCasters work closely with Synod offices across the country for their assistance in establishing contact with congregations. Subsequently, NetCasters also frequently serves as a regional point of contact for these congregational contacts.
Presidents are elected leaders of their respective Synodical or Congregational Lutheran Men in Mission chapters. All would welcome your questions, interest, and involvement. If you are aware of additional LMM Synod leaders that are not listed here, please forward that information to LMM Director of Communications and Networking
Ambassador-Grams help Ambassadors and Partners of Lutheran Men in Mission (LMM) effectively share consistent information with contacts in their network. These periodic communications, typically quarterly, will feature LMM resources and upcoming events to help individuals and congregations with their ministry to men. It is LMM’s hope that this information will help equip men to be bold, daring followers of
Christ.
